First off the gang is great… all friendly. Andres the mechanic was great definitely a mechanic who takes his job serious . He’s does the little extras that goes a long way. Being open on Sunday is a great benefit too. This will be my new go to auto repair shop would recommend! Thanks guys

Went to Midtown Center Auto Repair today, Saturday 7/25, for a NYS Vehicle Inspection. They were very thorough with the inspection and ensured all areas of the car were safe. The Shop was very clean and busy. Essa took care of my inspection and was very caring & polite. I absolutely recommend this repair to others!

I came in because my front brakes and tire were heating up. My own mechanic already told me the repair should be around $200–$300, but this shop quoted me $1,250, including $500 in labor. When I decided not to do the repair, they still charged me an $85 inspection fee and pressured me to fix it there. The staff was rude and made me feel uncomfortable. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Very unprofessional experience. My car originally could not start because the battery had died. Instead of even attempting a proper jump start or thoroughly checking detailed fault codes first, the shop quickly diagnosed the issue as the alternator and verbally assured me that replacing the alternator would definitely solve the problem. The manager sounded extremely confident and kept talking as if they fully understood the issue, but during the repair process he was literally asking his own workers what to do and how to proceed. The entire process felt disorganized and unprofessional. After replacing the alternator, the car was STILL not fixed. The vehicle continued showing ABS malfunction warnings, engine fault warnings, and multiple error codes. At that point, instead of solving the issue, they suddenly claimed the car needed even more diagnostics and even more money. What shocked me most was that they then tried to tell me the car was “good to drive.” I specifically asked them about all the warning lights and fault codes still showing on the dashboard, and they told me it “would not affect driving” and that “the car would not stall anymore because it is charging now.” In t

I called them at 6.30pm after putting gas in a diesel truck. They immediately sent a tow truck, emptied out the tank and got me back on the road by 8.15pm. They were very reasonably priced and everyone was so courteous and professional. The gentleman got me signed in and out the door in record time and the owner took the time to explain the process and put my mind at ease as this is my work truck. They also went above and beyond in their service and replaced a taillight I had in the truck for 6 months and repaired a flat tire in my car all in 90 mins. I will be using midtown for all my auto needs moving forward. Also they have a large clean space with a comfortable waiting area for customers. Definitely a 5 star experience
